MARCH 2020 UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have had to cancel our trip this year. We are praying that we can travel to the DR in the summer of 2021. Please pray for the people of the DR that we would have ministered to during our time there. Pray for their physical and spiritual health and that the local churches can be a light to them during this difficult time.

The Junior/Senior ONLY Trip is designed, specifically, for our upperclassmen to head overseas and engage in mission.

This year, we're headed to the Dominican Republic, in Santo Domingo to serve alongside the Tierra Alta Complex as they partner with other local churches.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO GO?

Everyone who has interest in attending MUST set up a one-on-one interview with someone on LHC staff. To set up a time to meet, click here

In addition you must attend each of the meetings ahead of time for team building and cross-cultural training. Those dates are:

The amazing thing about this trip, is we are only having to pay for the cost of the airline ticket. Tickets for this trip are going to be $1,100

IS IT SAFE?

Yes! It's very safe! The entire complex is fenced and guarded 24/7. It's ran and serviced by Americans so all of the facilities and amenities are up to standards.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO GO?

Anybody, who is in the graduating class of 2020, 2021 or 2022.

WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED?

Students will need to apply to our Managed Missions portal, after having set up their interview.

They will also need to obtain a valid U.S. passport.

No vaccines are required to enter the country, but check with your local physician on that to be 100% sure.

WILL THIS INTERFERE WITH SUMMER CAMP?

Nope! There are two weeks in between this trip and camp.

Now obviously there are costs associated with both of these trips, and this trip's bill is pretty steep.

3) We'll give you 50% off of summer camp if you go to both trips AND bring a friend with you to camp.

WHEN DO I NEED TO DECIDE BY?

We will need to have our final trip list by the first meeting in February (on the 16th), at the latest, as well as a $100 deposit to ensure your attendance on this trip. Tickets will then subsequently be purchased, so you don't have the option of backing out after that.
